The white grape variety comes from Greece, Synonyms are Perlina d'Inverno, Petrachladi and Prunesta Rosso Violacea. According to in 2013 DNA analysis it stems from a presumably natural cross between Uva Sogra x Caccio di Fermo Nero. However, this is based on only 20 DNA markers (see under molecular Genetics ). It is the parent of the varieties Olivette Blanche and Opsimo Edessis, The variety is called table grape used. No stocks were shown in 2010 (Statistics Kym Anderson ).
