The white grape variety originates from Greece. Synonyms are Aglianicone del Cilento, Ferral, Gloria, Lampanzona, Pergolese di Tivoli, Perlina d'Inverno, Petrachladi, Prunesta Rosso Violacea, Uva Romana and Uva Ruggia. The parentage (parentage) is unknown. It is a parent of the varieties Caccio di Fermo Nero, Imperial Napoleon, Olivette Blanche, Opsimo Edessis, Porcinale and Uva Sogra, which probably originated by natural crossings. The variety is used as wine grape and table grape. No stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).
