Acitana

The red grape variety (also Acitana Nera, Citana Nera) comes from the island Sicily in Italy, The variety is cultivated in small quantities in the two northeastern provinces of Catania and Messina and there with other local varieties such as Nerello Cappuccio and Nerello Mascalese blended. Among other things, she is in DOC red wine Faro authorized.
