Adel Fränkisch

The white grape comes from Germany or the Switzerland, Synonyms are Adelfränkische, Grüner Adelfränkisch, Kleinfränkisch and Weißfränkisch. Due to the same synonyms it may not be used with the varieties Greenfinch (Adelfranke, Adelfranke Blanche) or Traminer (Adelfranke) be confused. It is a presumably natural cross between Traminer x of unknown variety. The probably very old vine belongs to the group of Frankish, so qualitatively "better" grape varieties. A sort of Adelfränkisch is in the Styrian mixed set of the winery Herrenhof Lamprecht (Vulkanland Styria, Austria) cultivated.
