Advertisers wine

Designation (also advertising wine or advertising drink) for an alcoholic trunk such as mostly wine or schnapps, which was previously served by the advertisers as a motivation or the newly hired mercenaries or recruits. The trunk was next to the money and the entry of the name in the pay list the official sign for the service obligation. In the operetta "Der Zigeunerbaron" by Johann Strauss Sohn (1825-1899), the Werber song is sung: Shake hands, it must be, Let your love drive, Drink with us from Werberwein, Come 'to the Hussars. The German poet Rainer Maria Rilke (1875-1926) writes about it in his poem "War" (From the Thirty Years' War - Larenopfer): Let the devil plow fields; look - we always have enough! Forward - a promotional drink, from the full pitchers! See also below special wines,
