Aglianico di Galluccio

The red grape variety originates from Italy. Its parentage is unknown. It should not be confused with the Aglianico variety, from which it differs according to DNA analyses. This variety used to be cultivated in Campania, where there is a municipality called Galluccio in the province of Caserta and a DOC area of the same name. However, no stock was reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).
