Agni

The red grape variety (also PE 11-47) is a new breed between André x Irsai Olivér, The crossing took place in Czech Republic by the breeders J. Havlík, Ing. F. Zatloukal and L. Michlovský. The variety protection was granted in 2001. The early-ripening vine is moderately resistant to fungal diseases, It produces aromatic red wines with strongly distinctive tones nutmeg and roses, The variety is grown in the Morava (Moravia) area. In 2010, six hectares of vineyards were shown here (Statistics Kym Anderson ).
