The wine cooperative lies in the municipality of Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler in the German wine-growing region Ahr, The traditional association was founded in 1874. Managing director and cellar master is Dipl. Ing. Edgar Bertram. Viticulture technician Lukas Schmitz works as field manager and cellar technician Florian Schreier is responsible for cellar technology. The sales department is headed by Stephan Esser. The vineyards of the 76 members comprise a total of about 27 hectares of vineyards, inter alia, in the individual layers Daubhaus and Rosenthal (Ahrweiler). 85% of the red varieties Spätburgunder, Frühburgunder, Portugieser, Dornfelder and Regent, and 15% of the white varieties Riesling, Weißburgunder and Müller-Thurgau are cultivated and processed. Depending on the type, the wines are aged in steel tanks, large oak barrels or oak barrels. Bottle-fermented sparkling wines and brandies (yeast, pomace, wine, fruit) are also produced.
