The winery is located in the city Krems
in the Lower Austrian wine region Kremstal
, The family has been in the ninth generation of viticulture for over 200 years. A guest house opened in 1999 is connected. The business has been run by Wolfgang Aigner since 1990. In 2006 a new company building was completed. The vineyards cover 14 hectares of vineyards in the Frechau vineyards, sandpit
, Thalland and Weinzierlberg. They are 80% planted with the white varieties Grüner Veltliner (more than half), Riesling, Rivaner, Chardonnay and Gelber Muskateller, and 20% with the red varieties Blauburger and Zweigelt. The management follows the strict guidelines of the Integrated crop protection
(KIP). There is a targeted limitation of earnings through thin out
around a third of the grapes. The wines are almost exclusively dry and emphasized fruity. The premium wines include, for example, various Rieslings and Green Veltliners Kremstal DAC and Zweigelt. In weather-appropriate years there will also be a Eiswein
vinified. Around 60,000 bottles of wine are produced annually. Fine brandies are also produced. The winery is a member of the winegrowers' association "Original Kremser Wein".
