Alambic

Onion-shaped distillation pot or distilling attachment for the production of distillates. The name (also Alambik or Alambique) results from the Arabic article "al" and the Greek word "ambikos" for vessel or bowl. The Alambic collects during the distillation ascending alcohol vapors and forwards them into the cooling coils, where the distillate condenses and settles in liquid form.
