The white grape variety is an interspecific new variety between Riesling x Seyve-Villard 20-365(Dattier de St. Vallier). Synonyms are Alb de Ialoveni and Alb de Yalovene. It contains genes from Vitis berlandieri, Vitis rupestris and Vitis vinifera. The hybrid was crossed in Moldova in 1971 by the breeder Nicolae I. Guzun. In 2016 no stocks were recorded (statistics Kym Anderson).
