The white grape variety comes from Italy, There are morphological Similarities or perhaps also genetic relationships to the varieties Albanello. Albaranzeuli Bianco. Greco Bianco and (often mistaken for her) Trebbiano Toscano, however, there are five separate vines. To the variety Elbling a relationship is also suspected. The vine produces white wines with good storage potential. It was once in the region Brands widespread, today it is limited to the province of Pesaro.
