DOC range for a wide range of red, rosé and white wines in the Italian region or island Sicily, The area includes the municipalities of Alcamo, Calatafimi, Castellammare del Golfo and Gibellina in the province of Trapani, as well as Balestrate, Camporeale, Monreale, Partinico, San Cipirello and San Giuseppe Jato in the province of Palermo.

The varietal wines must contain at least 85% of the respective variety, a maximum of 15% may be other approved varieties. The white wines are Ansonica ( Inzolia ) Catarratto Bianco. Chardonnay, Grecanico ( Garganega ) Grillo. Müller-Thurgau and sauvignon ( Sauvignon Blanc ). The reds are Cabernet Sauvignon, Calabrese ( Nero d'Avola ) Merlot and Syrah,

The Bianco (also as Vendemmia tardiva and Spumante ) is blended from Catarratto Bianco (to 60%), and in any mixture Ansonica, Grecanico, Grillo, Chardonnay, Muller-Thurgau and Sauvignon (40% max), as well as other approved varieties (max 20%). The Bianco Classico is made in any mix of Catarratto varieties Catarratto Bianco Comune and / or Catarratto Bianco Lucido (80%), as well as other approved varieties (maximum 20%).

The Rosso (also as Novello and Riserva ) is made from Calabrese (to 60%), as well as in any mixture or use of Frappato. Perricone, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese and Syrah (up to 40%), as well as other approved varieties (up to 10%). The Rosato (also called Spumante) is in any mixture or use of Nerello Mascalese, Calabrese, Frappato, Perricone, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese and Syrah blended.
