The estate is located in the municipality Fellbach in the German wine-growing region Wuerttemberg, The family's long winegrowing tradition can be traced back to the year 1492, when "Bentz the Aldinger" cultivated vines here. The winery is in the 15th generation owned by Gert Aldinger. The managing director is Hansjörg Aldinger, as cellar master Matthias Aldinger. The vineyards cover 27 hectares of vineyards in the individual layers mountain (Hanweil), Goldberg and Lämmler (Fellbach), Schlossberg (Rotenberg), Mönchberg and Pulvermächer (Stetten), Götzenberg (Uhlbach), and in sole ownership plaster (Untertürkheim). They are the red varieties Trollinger, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Lemberger and Cabernet Sauvignon, and planted with the white varieties Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. The white wines are slowly fermented at between 12 and 14 ° C to preserve the primary grape flavors before being stored in steel tanks on the lees tire. The red wines ferment for up to 20 days on the mash before they receive their malolactic fermentation and ripen depending on the quality or desired type of wine in steel tanks, large oak barrels or barrique. There are also produced brandies. The winery is a member of VDP (Verband deutscher Prädikatsweingüter).
