The estate is located in the commune of Fellbach in the German wine-growing region Wuerttemberg
, The family's long wine-growing tradition can be traced back to 1492, when “Bentz der Aldinger” was already growing vines here. The winery is owned by Gert Aldinger in the 15th generation. Hansjörg Aldinger is the managing director and Matthias Aldinger the cellar master. The vineyards cover 27 hectares of vineyards in the individual layers Berg (Hanweil), Goldberg and Lämmler
(Fellbach), Schlossberg (Rotenberg), Mönchberg
(Stetten), Götzenberg (Uhlbach), as well as sole ownership plaster
(Untertürkheim). They are planted with the red varieties Trollinger, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Lemberger and Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as with the white varieties Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. The white wines are slowly fermented cool between 12 and 14 ° C in order to preserve the primary grape aromas before they are in the steel tank on the lees tires. The red wines ferment on the mash for up to 20 days before they receive their biological acid degradation and, depending on the quality or the type of wine desired, mature in steel tanks, in large wooden barrels or in barriques. Fine brandies are also produced. The winery is a member of VDP
(Association of German quality wine estates).
