The ALEX-Alkohollexikon has set itself the task of explaining terms and contexts relating to alcohol and alcoholism in a generally understandable way, especially for the purpose of education and training. In addition, the interdisciplinary cooperation between chemists, medical doctors, lawyers and other specialists is to be facilitated by making the technical terms more transparent and by facilitating contacts between authorities, organisations and companies as well as other persons involved in the alcohol problem. Publisher is Dr. rer.nat. Günter Schmidt. Access to the encyclopedia or the forum is provided via www.alkohol-lexikon.de. See also under Health, intoxication and drinking culture.
