Amynteo

Appellation (also Amyndeo or Amyntaion) in the east of the Florina district in the Greek region Macedonia, It is named after the city of the same name. It is the northernmost wine-growing area Greece, The vineyards with their characteristic sandy soil cover around 750 hectares of vines in an area 40 kilometers long and 5 to 20 kilometers wide at an altitude of 570 to 750 meters.
