Anchialos

Appellation (Ankhialos, Anhialos) south of the port city of Volos on the northwest and west side of the Pagasetic Gulf in Magnisia district in the region Thessaly ( Greece ). It is named after the city of Nea Anchialos. The vineyards cover about 450 hectares of vineyards on sandy-loamy soil and are almost at sea level.
