Anivin de France

Trade organisation for the wine quality level Vin de France in France. It was created in October 2009 by renaming L'Annivit, the organisation previously responsible for Vins de pays (country wines) and Vins de table (table wines). The reason for this was the amended EU wine market regulation that came into force at the beginning of August 2009, with major changes in the wine quality levels and wine designations (see in detail under Quality System). President René Moréno defined the main task as developing the new wine category and linking the topics of wine and society. This includes increasing brand awareness and creating domestic and foreign markets, supported by PR activities, trade fairs, competitions and marketing. This is to be achieved, among other things, through constant dialogue between trade organisations representing both producers and marketers. The INAO is responsible for the AOP and IGP quality levels.
