The winery in Dundee in the US state Oregon
was founded in 1987 by Australian Brian Croser and Texan Rollin Soles. Soles is responsible for the vinification. First shares in the historic Knudsen vineyard were acquired and later further areas were bought. The three vineyards Knudsen Vineyard, Stoller Vineyard and Lone Star Vineyard in the North Willamotte Valley cover 140 hectares of vineyards. They are planted with Chardonnay, Merlot, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir and Riesling. Premium wines include "Nuthouse Pinot Noir", "Reserve Merlot", "Willamotte Valley Chardonnay" and "Willamotte Valley Pinot Noir". Sparkling wine is also produced using the champagne method, for example "Extended Tirage Brut" (Chardonnay, Pinot Noir).
