The white grape variety comes from Portugal. It is a colour mutation of the white variety Arinto (Arinto de Bucelas). The vine has dark red berries. It is cultivated in the Ribatejo area. In 2016 no stock was reported (in 2010 it was 36 hectares); the quantities are probably included in the total of Arinto (Kym Anderson).
There is a vast number of sources on the web where one can acquire knowledge about wine. But none has the scope, timeliness and accuracy of the information in the encyclopaedia at wein.plus. I use it regularly and rely on it.
