Arnault Bernard

The French entrepreneur Bernard Jean Étienne Arnault (* 1949) ranked with an estimated fortune of 41 billion US dollars in 4th place in the Forbes list of the richest people in the world. He is CEO of the luxury goods group LVMH to which the leather goods brand Louis Vuitton, the champagne house Moët et Chandon and the cognac brand Hennessy belong. Through its Holding Groupe Arnault, it owns 47.5% of the company's shares (64% of the voting rights). He is also co-owner of the famous winery Château Cheval Blanc (Saint-Emilion). Arnault competes with François Pinault, the boss of the other French luxury goods group PPR.
