The "Cantine Ascheri Giacomo" winery is located in the center of the city of Brà in the province of Cuneo in the Italian region Piedmont, It was founded in 1880 and is still family owned. Today it is run by Matteo Ascheri, who is supported by the oenologist Giuliano Baghino and the agronomist Edoardo Monticelli. The "Osteria Murivecchi" (restaurant) and a hotel are connected. The vineyards cover 28 hectares of vineyards around the municipalities of La Morra and Serralunga d'Alba in the heart of the Barolo area. There is a wide range of DOC and DOCG wines. these are Barbera d'Alba (Fontanelle) Barolo (Sorano, Sorano Coste & Bricco, Vigna dei Pola), Dolcetto d'Alba (Vigna Nirane, Vigna San Rocco), Langhe. Nebbiolo d'Alba (Bricco San Giacomo) and Roero (Arneis Christina Ascheri). Depending on the location of the vineyards, the wines are produced in the three estates Montalupa (Brà), Rivalta (La Morra) and Sirano (Serralunga).
