The two red grape varieties Aspignan 1 (also Galibert Coulondre 239-34) and Aspignan 2 (also Gilbert Coulondre 239-36) are interspecific new varieties between Seyve-Villard 12-401 (Seibel 6468 x Subereux ) x Aspiran Noir, They are genes from Vitis berlandieri. Vitis labrusca. Vitis lincecumii. Vitis rupestris and Vitis vinifera contain. The crossing of the hybrids was done in France by the private breeders Alfred Galibert and Eric Coulondre. In 2010, however, no stocks were shown (Statistics Kym Anderson ).
