Aspiran Gris

The white grape variety originates from France. Synonyms are Aspiran Grigio, Aspiran Violet, Aspirant, Cumberland Lodge, Epiran, Esperione, Espiran, Hardy Blue Windsor, Piran, Piran Gris, Red Port, Ribeyrenc, Ribeyrenc Gris, Rivairen, Rivairenc Gris, Riveyrenc, Spiran, Spiran Gris, Spiran Verdal, Turner's Blak, Verdal and Verdal Gris. It is a colour mutation with purple berries of the red variety Aspiran Noir. The variety is used as wine grape and as table grape. No stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).
