The white grape variety originates from France. Synonyms are Aspiran Rose, Aspiran Verdal, Riverain, Rivairenc Rouge, Riveyrenc, Spiran Verdaou and Verdal. It is a colour mutation with dark red berries of the red variety Aspiran Noir. The variety is used as a winepress and table grape. No stock was reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).
