Their families have been growing grapes in Achkarren and Bahlingen for several generations. The vineyards cover only a small hectare of vineyards in the individual layers Schlossberg
(Achkarren), Silberberg (Bahlingen) and Steinfelsen (Bickensohl). They are planted with the varieties Pinot Noir (0.5 ha), Pinot Gris (0.2) and Pinot Blanc (0.2 ha). Great attention is paid to ripe and healthy grapes. The hand selected grapes are processed quickly and gently pressed. The red wines are matured after the classic mash fermentation for about 12 months in oak barrels. It works with different oak woods and every year uses a proportion of new wood.
