The "Henri Badoux SA - Vins" winery is located in the municipality of Aigle in the Chablais area of the western Swiss canton of Vaud. The family business is now managed by Henri Olivier Badoux, the third generation of the Badoux family. The vineyards cover 55 hectares of vineyards in the appellations of Aigle, Chardonne, Ollon, Saint Saphorin and Yvorne. From another 45 hectares, grapes are supplied by contract winegrowers. An emerald lizard adorns the bottle labels of the house. The name "Eidechsliwy" is also derived from this for one of the most famous Swiss wines, the intensely fruity "Aigle Les Murailles" made from Chasselas grapes. Other wines are marketed under the name "La Maison du Lézard" from different terroirs or appellations. These are white wines from Chasselas and Pinot Gris, and red wines from Gamay, Gamaret and Pinot Noir.
