Balafánt

The white grape variety originates from Hungary. Synonyms are Balafán and White Pikolit. The parentage is unknown. Despite seemingly indicating synonyms or morphological similarities, it must not be confused with the varieties Csaba Gyöngye (Korai Balafánt), Kéknyelű or Picolit (both with synonym Balafánt). No population was reported in 2016 (statistics Kym Anderson).
