, In the imperial patent of July 20, 1641 Untermarkersdorf is highlighted as a wine village first grade by name. Since that time wine-growing is practiced in the traditional family. Today, the company is managed by Ing. Wolfgang Baumgartner. With a total of 120 hectares, the farm is one of the largest wineries in Austria. The vineyards are located in the vineyards Neudeckel, Table Mountain, Schatzberg and Sommerleiten. The white varieties Grüner Veltliner, Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Welschriesling, Chardonnay, Muscat Ottonel, Sauvignon Blanc, Gewürztraminer, Scheurebe, Müller-Thurgau and Jubiläumsrebe, as well as the red varieties Blauburgunder, Blauer Portugieser, Zweigelt, St. Laurent and Blaufränkisch
