The parentage is unknown. There are morphological Similarities to the Romanian varieties Cabasma Albâ. Galbenă de Odobesti and Zghihara de Husi,
It used to be quite common in Kleinfrweiß in Upper Franconia (Germany). According to the certified biologist Andreas Young With its milky-white-yellow berries it resembles the yellow Riesling in the winemaker Franz's collection Leth (Wagram, Lower Austria).
