Berget Adrien

The French Ampelograph Adrien Berget worked intensively on the research of the French grape variety names and wrote the book “Contribution à l'Etude des Noms de Cépages” in 1898 with historical research on the Pinot de Bourgogne ( Chardonnay ). Other works by him were "Les Vins de France" (The Wines of France) and "La Viticulture Nouvelle, La Reconstitution des Vignobles, Plantation et Culture des Vignes franco-amaricaines" (The new viticulture, restoration of the vineyards, planting and culture of the French American vines).
