Bettane Michel

The wine author Michel Bettane is one of the leading wine journalists and wine critics France. He wrote for 20 years until 2004 regularly for the consumer magazine "La Revue du Vin de France" and was responsible in this publisher for the wine guide "Classement des Meilleurs Vins de France". Due to the acquisition by the media group Lagardère he divorced due to disagreements with his colleague Thierry Desseauve out. Since 2008 they are giving out their own wine guide "Le Grand Guide des Vins". They also wrote the book "The World's Greatest Wines" together. Bettane is also for the journals Decanter and World of Fine Wine active. He is also the invention of the term Garage wine (Vin de garage) attributed.
