The estate is located in the municipality of Hallgarten (Oestrich-Winkel) in the German wine-growing region Rheingau, The company was founded in 2013 by Walter Bibo (longtime director of Reinhartshausen Castle ) and Kai Runge founded. Since 2017, the company has been run jointly by Walter Bibo (operations manager), Markus Bonsels (oenologist and sales) and his wife Monika Eichner (marketing, administration). The former manager Bonsels quit his job in 2015 and studied viticulture and cellar management in Germany and France. Kai Runge has left the company. Bonsels & Bibo KG acts as the owner.

The vineyards cover 4.5 hectares of vineyards (4 hectares in lease and 0.5 hectares in own ownership) in the individual layers Hendelberg. maid. Schönhell (with KL Frühernberg) and Würzgarten (Hallgarten) as well lenchen (Oestrich). It will be the grape varieties Riesling and Pinot Noir ( Pinot Noir ) cultivated.
