Bicane

The white grape variety comes from France, Synonyms are Becaune, Bican, Bicanne, Bikan, Chasselas Napoleon, Chrupka Napoleonova, Damascus Early White, Meadow Brown, White Napoleon and Zanta. It is a pure female grape which is why coulure inclines. It is mostly used as table grape used. The variety was a cross partner of the new varieties Admirable de Courtiller. Calabrisi Bianco. Ciclopica. Emilia. Prince grape. Italia. Précoce de Malingre. Perlona. Sicily. Xenia (1) and Zagore, Also the Italian breeder Alberto Pirovano (1884-1973) used it.
