The winery is located in the municipality of Mühlhofen (Südliche Weinstraße area) in the German wine-growing region of Pfalz. It is managed by Stefan Bietighöfer. The vineyards cover over 19 hectares of vines in the single vineyard Rosenberg (Mühlhofen). They are 60% planted with the red wine varieties Pinot Noir, St. Laurent, Black Riesling, Dornfelder and Portugieser, and 40% with the white wine varieties Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Yellow Muscat, Sauvignon Blanc, Scheurebe and Silvaner. The vineyards are cultivated according to the guidelines of environmentally friendly viticulture. The wines are mostly vinified 100% varietally and, depending on the type of wine, aged in stainless steel, conventional wooden barrels or barrique. Bottle-fermented sparkling wines, secco (sparkling wines), liqueurs and noble brandies (fruit, marc, wine) are also produced. The winery is a member of the Generation Riesling association.
