Blanchet

Well-known branded wine, which was introduced to the market by the German company Racke(Bingen, Rheinhessen) in 1988. At that time the line included various wines from Germany, France, Italy, Spain and California. In October 2009 the brand was sold by Racke (Bingen) to the German company Rotkäppchen-Mumm (Freyburg, Saale-Unstrut). In 2011 the assortment was reduced or changed to French wines. It now includes the dry cuvées Blanc de blancs, Rosé de France and Rouge de France, the semi-dry Blanc de blancs and Rouge de France, as well as the dry grape variety wines Chardonnay and Merlot. Blanchet is one of the most successful German brand wines.
