The winery is located in the municipality of Gösing am Wagram in the Lower Austrian wine-growing region of Wagram. It is managed by Leopold Blauensteiner. The vineyards cover eight hectares of vineyards in the vineyards Essenthal, Fumberg, Gmirk and Wilbling on mostly dominant loess soils. The white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner (the leading variety with about 50% of the total area), Roter Veltliner, Sauvignon Blanc, Gelber Muskateller, Chardonnay and Riesling account for 85% of the vineyards, and the red wine varieties Zweigelt, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Blauburger for 15%. The environmentally friendly cultivation follows the rules of KIP (Controlled Integrated Production). A strict yield reduction is achieved through uncompromising thinning out.

During vinification, great importance is attached to clear stylistics (without botrytis), distinctive terroir or site typicity as well as storability. The main variety Grüner Veltliner is intensively cultivated and the best vines are selected and vegetatively propagated. The variety is marketed with the three site wines "Wilbling", "Essenthal" and "Fumberg" as well as with the premium wine "Fumberg Privat". The white wines are vinified exclusively in steel tanks. In years with suitable weather conditions, noble sweet wines such as Trockenbeerenauslese or Eiswein are also produced. 50% of the wines are exported to Germany, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Poland, Finland and Belgium. Noble brandies (marc, wine, fruit) are also produced. The winery is a founding member of the Winery Association Wagram.
