This white grape variety is a new cross between Queen of the Vineyards x (Alphonse Lavallée x Pirovano 75). Synonyms are Davis 31-37 F and Davis 31-37 F. The seedless vine was crossed in 1962 in the USA by the breeder Harold P. Olmo (1909-2006) at the California Agricultural Experiment Station. The variety is mainly used as table grape. No stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).
There is a vast number of sources on the web where one can acquire knowledge about wine. But none has the scope, timeliness and accuracy of the information in the encyclopaedia at wein.plus. I use it regularly and rely on it.
