The white grape variety (also Boal Cachudo) originates from Portugal; it is one of the numerous Boal varieties (see there). According to DNA analyses carried out in 2012, it is probably a natural cross between Malvasia Fina and Cayetana Blanca. However, this is based on only 20 DNA markers (see molecular genetics). In 2016, one hectare each was identified in the Alentejo and Ribatejo areas (statistics Kym Anderson).
Using the encyclopaedia is not only time-saving, but also extremely convenient. What's more, the information is always up to date.
