Boberg

Wine-growing region in South Africa, although it is not a classic region, as there are no districts or wards. This designation of origin is used for fortified wines produced in the Franschhoek, Paarl and Tulbagh districts (belonging to the Coastal Region). The wines similar to port wine are mainly made from the Chenin Blanc, Muscat d'Alexandrie and Palomino varieties. The other regions are Breede River Valley, Cape South Coast, Coastal Region, Klein Karoo and Olifants River.

There is a vast number of sources on the web where one can acquire knowledge about wine. But none has the scope, timeliness and accuracy of the information in the encyclopaedia at wein.plus. I use it regularly and rely on it.
