The winery is located in the municipality of Zell-Kaimt (Terrassenmosel area) in the German wine-growing region of Mosel. The winery is run by Paul and Ute Boendgen, with son Paul jun. responsible for the cellar technology. The vineyards cover 5.5 hectares of vines in the single vineyard sites Laurentiuslay (Leiwen), Frauenberg (Neef), Calmont (Bremm), as well as Petersborn-Kabertchen and Pommerell (Zell). They are planted with the white wine varieties Riesling (80% of the stock), Müller-Thurgau and Pinot Blanc, as well as Pinot Noir. The vineyards are cultivated by hand. The wines are vinified according to the vineyard type.
For my many years of work as an editor with a wine and culinary focus, I always like to inform myself about special questions at Wine lexicon. Spontaneous reading and following links often leads to exciting discoveries in the wide world of wine.
