Bonda

The red variety (also Prié Rouge) comes from the border area Italy / Switzerland, It may be based on apparently suggestive synonyms or morphological or name similarities not with the varieties Bondola. Bondoletta or Primetta (Prié Rouge). According to the year 2001 DNA analysis is not a color mutation the white species Prié but there is a close relationship to the variety Nosiola, It was first described in 1833 by the Ampelographen Lorenzo F. Gatta. The origin of the variety is probably in the aosta Valley, In Switzerland, it becomes a grape variety group Old plants counted. The early ripening vine produces colorful, more alcohol-rich red wines. In 2010, seven hectares of vineyards were reported in Italy, the majority in Veneto (Statistics Kym Anderson ).
