Braun Heinz

The estate is located in the municipality of Fahr am Main (Main Triangle area) in the German wine-growing region Franconia, It has been run by Thomas and Heike Braun since 1988. A guest house and a Häckerstube are connected. The vineyards cover 17 hectares of vineyards in the individual layers Glatzen (Neuses am Berg), Landsknecht (Obervolkach), little bird (Nordheim) Rosenberg (Sommerach) bounder (Escherndorf) hell (Obereisenheim), Eselsberg (Stammheim), and councilman (Volkach). They are planted with the white varieties Silvaner, Riesling, Müller-Thurgau, Kerner, Bacchus, Scheurebe, Traminer, Gelber Muskatteller, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, as well as with the red varieties Pinot Noir, Merlot, Domina and Schwarzriesling. The vineyards are managed close to nature. Around 150,000 bottles of wine are produced annually. There are also bottle-fermented sparkling wines, sparkling wines, brandies (yeast, pomace, grapes, fruit), liqueurs, vinegar, champagne jelly and wine jelly generated. The winery is a member of the Franconian Wine Association and Franconian Greenhouse.
