Breslava

The white grape variety is a new breed between (Chrupka Červená = Chasselas Rose x Tramín Cervený = Red Traminer x Santa Maria d'Alcantara, Breslava is the historical name of the Slovak capital Bratislava (Bratislava). The crossing took place in 1960 in the former CSSR by Dorata Pospisilova. The medium-maturing vine is sensitive to frost, but resistant to Botrytis, It produces fresh white wines with aromas of grapefruit and light nutmeg, The variety is in the Slovakia cultivated on ten hectares ( Wine Grapes ).
