The Azienda Agricola Brezza Giacomo e Figli winery is located in the center of the municipality of Barolo in the Italian region Piedmont
, The Brezza family has owned vineyards here since 1885. Around 1910, Giacomo Brezza and his father Antonio bottled wine. The family business, now in its fourth generation, also includes a hotel and a restaurant. The original part of the wine cellar in a traditional round vault made of old bricks was previously used for the entire working cycle, today it is used to store the wine in oak barrels. However, the vast majority of the basement is of a more recent design. The entire estate comprises 23 hectares of land, of which 18 hectares are planted with vines in Barolo (15 hectares), Alba (2 hectares) and Monforte (1 hectare). 90% of red wines are produced. These are only DOC / DOCG wines such as Barolo
from the historical locations "Bricco Sarmassa", "Cannubi" and "Sarmassa", Barbera d'Alba
from “Cannubi Muscatel” (from a vineyard over 60 years old), Dolcetto d'Alba
from "San Lorenzo", as well Langhe
Freisa and (as the only white wine) Chardonnay. Around 90,000 bottles of wine are produced annually. Over 60% of these are exported to the USA, Germany, Switzerland, Canada, Japan, Australia, England, Taiwan, France, Austria, the Netherlands and Belgium.
