Brock University

University in the south of St. Catharines (province of Ontario) in Canada with a chair in oenology. Affiliated is the CCOVI (Cool Climate Oenology and Viticulture Institute), founded in 1996, which offers a degree programme in Cool Climate Winegrowing and Winemaking. There are a variety of research programmes at the university. These are, for example, the topics of training methods, vine spacing or planting density, shoot thinning, artificial irrigation, precision vit iculture using GPS, disease and pest control, foliage management, as well as oenological processes.
