The winery is located in the municipality of Langenlois in the Lower Austrian wine-growing region of Kamptal. The traditional history of the family business dates back to 1581. Since 1980 it has been run by Willi Bründlmayer. Attached is the "Heurigenhof Bründlmayer", which is located in a Renaissance building from the 16th century. The largely terraced vineyards cover 80 hectares of vineyards in the Dechant, Heiligenstein, Käferberg, Ladner, Lamm, Loiserberg, Steinmassel, Spiegel and Vogelsang vineyards. The white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc and Gelber Muskateller are cultivated to 70%, and the red wine varieties Blauer Burgunder (Pinot Noir), St. Laurent, Zweigelt and Cabernet Franc to 30%.

The vines are pulled just above the ground so that the grapes get more soil warmth. About a third are grown in the Lyra style. The vines are cultivated according to the rules of organic viticulture. Among other things, herbicides are completely avoided and only organic materials are used for fertilisation (green manure, cow dung and composted plant waste). Small water points are created around the vineyards to prevent erosion and improve the microclimate. Production is carried out according to certified criteria of Nachhaltig Austria.

For certain wines, 300-litre barrique barrels made of local wood (Manhartsberg oak) are used; for the maturation of Grüner Veltliner, local acacia is preferred in 2,500-litre barrels. The premium wines include Kamptal DAC and Kamptal DAC Reserve (Grüner Veltliner, Riesling) from various sites. The flagship of the house is the Grüner Veltliner from the Lamm vineyard. Around 350,000 bottles of wine are produced annually. A hand-shaken bottle-fermented sparkling wine is also produced. Wines dating back to 1947 are stored in the vinotheque. The winery is a member of the Acádemie Internationale du Vin and Traditionsweingüter Österreich associations.
