Cabaret Noir

The red grape variety is an interspecific new breed between Cabernet Sauvignon x unknown resistance partners. Synonyms are Cabernet Noir, VB 91-26-04 and Valentin Blattner VB 91-26-04. They are genes from Vitis amurensis and Vitis vinifera contain. The crossing of the hybrid was done in 1991 by the winery owner Valentin Blattner in Soyhières in the canton of Jura in the Switzerland, The early maturing lockerbeerige and hardy Vine is resistant to both mildews and Botrytis which is why they are considered PIWI -Sortr applies. It produces red wines with soft ones tannins as well as diverse aromas of dark cherries, juniper berries, violets, cloves and pepper. The variety is produced by one producer in the canton St. Gallen, in Belgium and in the Netherlands grown. In 2010, however, no stocks were shown (cym Anderson ).
