The red grape variety (also Gargiulo 14892) is a new breed between Ruby (2) x Ruby Cabernet, They are genes from Vitis labrusca and Vitis vinifera contain. The crossing of the hybrid took place in Buenos Aires in Argentina by the breeder Angel Gargiulo at INTA (National Institute of Agricultural Technology). The name comes from Caber net and INTA. The productive vine produces acidic red wines. It is mainly in the field Mendoza grown. In 2010, the Argentine vineyard area was 47 hectares (Statistics Kym Anderson ).
