Caberlot

The red variety comes from Italy, It was built in the 1950s west of Verona Veneto discovered and selected by the agronomist Remigio Bordini in an old vineyard. There will be a cross between Cabernet Sauvignon x Merlot suspected, but it could also be a mutation act by Merlot. The German Wolf D. Rogosky came into contact with Bordini in the 1970s and created the name Caberlot for the variety. He founded in the municipality of Mercatale Valdarno in the province of Arezzo in the Tuscany the winery Il Carnasciale and planted the variety Caberlot on about two hectares.
