Cabernet Eidos

The red grape variety (also UD-58.083) is an interspecific new variety between Cabernet Sauvignon x Kozma 20-3, containing genes from Vitis amurensis, Vitis berlandieri, Vitis rupestris and Vitis vinifera. The hybrid was crossed in Italy in 2002 by the breeders Simone Diego Castellarin, Guido Cipriani and Gabriele Di Gaspero. The medium maturing vine is resistant to both types of mildew. In 2016 no stock was reported (statistics Kym Anderson).
